Patrici<\/strong>a Ortiz<\/strong>\u00a0is a\u00a0professional art restorer<\/strong>\u00a0with more than 20 years of international experience in restoration of paintings, frames, sculptures and other objects. Patricia was born in Spain, lived in Ireland and the U.S, and is currently already more than 10 years living in the Netherlands.<\/p>\n

Education<\/h2>\n

Patricia Ortiz completed a master study in restoration of painting and frames\u00a0at the\u00a0Complutense University in Madrid<\/a>. In the\u00a0Prado Museum in Madrid<\/a>\u00a0she gained experience with technical analysis of paintings. At the university and in the museum she worked on many restoration projects, such as the Basilica of Avila.<\/p>\n

Experience<\/h2>\n

Patricia has a vast experience in restoring paintings, frames, sculptures and other objects. During ten years she worked and lived in Ireland where she restored paintings for the\u00a0National Gallery in Dublin<\/a>. During this period she specialized in 19th century oil paintings from Spanish, Irish and British masters, such as Murillo, Soroya, Lawrence, Reynolds, Orpen and Lavary among many others.<\/p>\n

The past 10 years Patricia worked in the Netherlands and specialized in Dutch masters and movements. She has a lot of experience with painters from the\u00a0Hague school<\/a><\/strong>\u00a0such as Willem Maris, Jozef Israels, Floris Arntzenius, Jan Hendrik Weissenbruch, and many other masters like Rembrandt and Ferdinand Bol. Patricia works for private persons, companies and musea. For\u00a0Museum Gouda<\/a>\u00a0and\u00a0Museum Boijmans van Beuningen<\/a>\u00a0in Rotterdam she restored many paintings and objects<\/p>\n
